Mark Hoekstra is an exceptional musician. He is a very talented Harmonica virtuoso, Vocalist, Slide Guitarist and Songwriter..Mark has been all over many parts of the world on tour with The Legendary Blues Band (Muddy Waters old band). He has toured also with Chicago based band Westside Heat. He has also side-manned for Lonnie Brooks. He introduced me to Willie and Freddie Dixon years ago when he guested with these blues greats on stage at various Chicago Clubs. His work with the Louisville area band Freedom and Whiskey as a singer/songwriter is stellar. My brother from another mother!, Sincerely James Stanley Howen
