Raised in Edinburgh Scotland, Rebecca’s successful acting career (Heist, Spanish Prisoner, Shopgirl) has been more documented than her music, but both passions seem to serve her well. Her first record was released on the small indie label Red Flame Records while she was still attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She’s released five albums, establishing her unique musical presence in the band Ruby Blue in the mid-1980s, and crafting a solid jazz rep with New York indie Chesky Records the following decade.

- It was our 2nd time playing with bass player Dan Eubanks. We decided to record our practice to help him learn the songs. We sat in a circle in our very small living room, direct mic'd the steel and bass and threw a simple room mic up. The crickets outside were SO loud, we decided to open the windows and invite them in.... not flawless, but we feel it was very magical what happened in the living room that summer evening.

Please Just give it a listen with an open mind. I support the woman's right to choose in ALL Cases, but as a father of 7 (by Spermatazoa), and with 3 more children by marriage, for a total of 10 (kidzz & steppp-kiddzzz), I PERSONALLY don't GET using abortion as an option for a "mistake", or birth control ( Example: adoption exists). In my humble opinion, basically, Abortion should ALWAYS be the woman's CHOICE, but should only be ENCOURAGED as a the BEST solution in the case of RAPE /Incest, Abject Poverty or any other drastic/hardship scenarios.
