AI is the greatest musical invention since the invention of the multi-track recorder.
I will use it any way I want, anytime I want, and no one can stop me from using it and sharing my experimentations. Period. Full stop.

If it is to be the future of music, I will jump to the front of the line and learn everything I can about it, and never allow myself to be left behind by the technology. I will not be the senior who can't use a smartphone or send an email. And I will definitely not allow any gatekeeping, judgmental POS to stop me from using it.

There. I feel better now.

Same here, Bryon. I am all about playing my instruments. But AI is the most wonderful tool for trying different genres and arrangement ideas before bringing them to a band or recording session. Some people don't understand that concept. It's black or white for them. They cannot see the middle ground at all. Simply stuck in their heads with no real knowledge or facts. Just opinions.

I have two new ones in the works. One is African roots, and the other sounds like Bartok.

Well AI can be a good thing in music I suppose but in the end the machines will replace all of us so I'm not to excited about that part..

The problem with guys like "He who shall not be named" is that they are so one-dimensional, and they don't understand that we still do what we did before AI, and now we do AI, too. He thinks we're lazy. And that is ridiculous. If anything, I am doing a lot more of the human stuff since discovering AI, not that I wasn't working hard already.

I hope you are wearing your Depends because you will surely wet your pants.

It's ass holes like you bryon & your side kick lyrreee who ruin music sites! You talk like you think your the best & have all the answers, but it just amounts to a bag of doo doo! Stop being 2 year olds because you are both showing the rest on here how immature you both are! If I find out that either of you have been slandering me on shitbook, expect a law suit. My wife gets on there & she will let me know. Now go back to controlling the indiemsuicpeoples AI site!

You are absolutely correct Gregg, the 2 idots on here are so full of it, pushing there crap on all you & the rest here. They evidently need a lot of help jazzing up there music because evidently they can't perform it right on there own! Everything I have created, Instruments, vocals, guitar bass I have done on all my music. yes I've used the keyboard as a tool, but I played the Keyboard using it's features, but that is all part of one creating their own music & it can't be used on others songs like AI created music can! I would never stupe down to using artificial intelligence in the creation of my music! Using it is hiding your musicianship abilities. It's also giving it a professionalism like the record labels do. It is impossible for an independent artist to create music like the record labels do, because they have the top notch pro musicians play on there recordings for the artist(s) being pushed. You can't compete with million dollar productions! AI can, because it copies the music created by record labels & voices! That is the real reason these 2 clowns on here use it, period! It's another way of them making their music sound better than the others music on here that is created by real true musicians! One thing most do not understand about AI, is the fact that it can't be copyrighted, so any music created by it can't be copyrighted by the artist using it, only the human part of it can be copyrighted What good is a song if only the lyrics can only be copyrighted because the main reason for using AI is it's creating music for an artist or correcting vocals.,

Very interesting video, Gregg. Thank you for posting that. I find robotics very interesting. I have friends at JPL who work with robotic tech for the space program. We are definitely moving towards the sci-fi future that we grew up reading about rapidly.

Wes you're kind of melting down here. At least 97% of the artists on this site have never laid a finger on AI for their music and I've known Larree since 2001 and Bryon since 2004 and both of them have produced tons of organic songs on their own.

What's your next demand if you completely got your way here? Do you want the world to eradicate AI like a virus? Maybe since AI has gotten its finger in the wormhole we'll have to eliminate all music? and what do you want to control after that?

Anyway, back to music. AI music, specifically.

I just uploaded a new track. I found an old recording of myself playing my kalimba. I've been playing kalimba since high school. Anyway, I uploaded my kalimba recording to Suno. I asked for some dono drum and flute, and turned it loose. I downloaded the stems and might do some guitar over it.

I'm not taking sides, we're all musicians here,
While I believe that in the future the real value will be in real music, I think that AI will put artists, studios, producers out of a job.
I found this video which predicts how the future might be, and who AI music is marketed to, how it is consumed and what it may mean for the music industry.

Thanks for posting that, Chris. I watched the first 10 minutes of the video, and I will definitely watch the rest of it later. I also added the video to the right-side column of my AI Music radio station. Suno is like a video game that anyone can enjoy. But my answer to that is the more you know about music, the better the game. And if anyone wants a career in the future music biz, they must embrace the technology and learn how to play the game. New income streams will be created for true artists that many of us have never dreamed of. But that will be up to us. Open-minded artists will have a much better shot at those income streams than those who shun AI. Don't be the blacksmith who refused to learn how to change a tire on a horseless carriage. Player piano rolls didn't replace pianists. And AI will never replace real musicians. Imagine how much money Taylor Swift could make if she dropped the stems to her songs on Suno and, for a small charge, allowed her fans to remix them on Suno? And even produce those stems in different genres and styles? If she's a billionaire today, she could become a multi-billionaire with a service like Suno. We have a bright future in the AI music world - but only if we embrace it.

The industry ripped us off and f*cked us all in the a$$ before AI, and the industry will continue to do us dirty long after AI is as common as the wah-wah pedal.

Wait till AI Robot law enforcement kicks in your front door, then we'll know how dangerous AI can be when in the wrong hands..

It can be a good thing is some ways and a skilled music talent will still find appreciative audiences but the labels don't like to pay anyone but themselves and that won't change.

Hell. AI is going to be taking over everything now. Uber drivers, the truck drivers, the building industry, automobile industry, music and art industry, the film-making industry; actors and acting as well. Damn! The "most important thing" IS "where" something comes from NOT "what it is"! Hell. I guess I'm going to listen to Pink Floyd "Welcome To The Machine".(now???) ...damn...mmM...

Let "Them" be ALL of our "Judges". You COULD "Trust THEM "sons of bitches" as NOT "to be influenced by wealth and money and sexual things". Damn Sounds like a good idea... AI for ALL "The Judges"! I would DEFINITELY "Trust THEM" a whole lot more than the m************ that we have nowadays serving in them post and positions! damn...mmM

AI driving abilities?

Compared to the average human driver, Waymo’s system cut property damage claims by 88% and bodily injury claims by 92%. Even when stacked against newer cars loaded with advanced safety tech ,automatic braking, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, the reductions were still close to 90%. In practical terms, across all those millions of miles, only two bodily injury claims were filed, both still under review.

But the Swiss Re data is only part of the picture. In May 2025, Waymo released a complementary study, peer-reviewed and accepted by the journal Traffic Injury Prevention, that zoomed in on specific crash types. The results showed the Waymo Driver wasn’t just avoiding fender-benders — it was reducing the most dangerous accidents on the road:

92% fewer pedestrian injury crashes compared to human drivers.
82% fewer cyclist and motorcyclist injury crashes.
96% fewer injury-involving intersection crashes, where NHTSA data shows humans are most at risk.
85% fewer crashes with suspected serious or worse injuries, pointing to life-saving benefits, even though these events are fortunately rare.

25 MILLION MILES = 92% FEWER INJURY CLAIMS!

For decades, tech elites have sold us a shiny future powered by artificial intelligence. But what if the future they’re building doesn’t include us?

I investigated the dangerous worldview known as TESCREALism that has taken hold across the world’s most powerful tech companies, from OpenAI to Tesla. It’s the belief that biological humans are flawed and temporary, and that a post-human future dominated by AGI (artificial general intelligence) is both inevitable and desirable.

Under this ideology, human obsolescence is framed as progress, while billionaires like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Peter Thiel, and Mark Zuckerberg prepare to outlive the collapse they are helping to create.

The dumbest thing about this stupid fight with Wes is that I am totally bored with Suno AI now. I mean, it's a fun computer game, and I will not say I will never create and post another AI track ever, but damn. For Wes to go so nuts on Bryon and me, and everyone else who uses AI, was insane. I did like his music, and I wish he would come back and repost his tunes.

So I have not played Suno - played Suno, lol, like the computer game it is, lol - for a few weeks now. But I did start listening to creations for the first time in weeks. And I have to say, I definitely know the cheat codes! Would I ever distribute any of it through Distro and try to win some Spotify lunch money? No fucking way.

But it is a really cool way to develop ideas. I'll play Suno again when 6.0 comes out.
