Thankyou for dropping by my page. I am well, going to take early retirement from work and plan to do experimenting with music making. Fred who produced DirgeK's music has been very ill with throat cancer but I hope he is going to make it through.
Hope your music making is going well and you are continuing to heal, I know it is not easy.

Love to you and all your family

I am not at liberty to say where I have been.............contractual obligations and all that!!!

All I can tell you is that two large barrels of Peruvian guano, one knitted glove (orange in colour), a handmaid with a distinct aroma and some sheep's testicles were involved!!!

Dear Deb,

Happy New Year! Wow, what is happiness? I measure life one minute at a time. I'm thankful for all the good minutes and I've learned that having the strength to live through
something gives you the strength to live with it. I hope that your minutes are good ones
and that in 2010 you will have 525,600 of them.

To Debs, Gina, Hugh, Dirge K, Auset, Steve I, Steve A, Eagleheadd Susan & Satch---where are we at the moment----on this project?

OK--we finally have all the songs on our computer!!!

We can now do the levels--------- and remaster (if necessary)

We have been working on two different covers (which I will post on the station)

Now I admit to being naieve about how quickly this would happen---we have 2 commissions suddenly --------------------$$$$$$---so they come first !! (Adverts)

We have burned a CD, (as on the station) and will be playing it at "ARTRAGEOUS"
the local Arts Festival here (Blenheim) in the town square-----We have 6 hours so it should get played several times ! We will also plug IAC and Indie Music!

Thanks so much for your patience and especially for the Music

Love Rob

Hi Deb...Thanks for stopping by my page and the kind words on White Buffalo. I have tried unsuccessfully to reload the image but it won't go...and anything i click on from my artist edit page comes up with this overlay of ads making it hard to even read. Is this just my page or is everybodies like that? When stuff isn't working, it is NOT a good sign of things to come. I see numerous pages without pics and on the charts as well. Not good. Any ideas why?
I also stopped by your page and listened to a couple...Anxious Time was good...reminded me alot of Heart in the early 80's. Cool stuff...Pine

"It's so hard"

Aside from the emotions that inspired this big rock production we find a very stirring and professionally written and performed song with an 'anthem' like chorus. Somehow this lady has managed to put across tender, personal thoughts, normally whispered only in prayer. She has managed this amid a mountain of instrumental backing but it is her voice, her message that you hear as she defies anything to detract from her pleading. The melody pattern consists of a low pitched statement almost a question answered by a higher more intense phrase. We can all answer this urgent plea by listening and empathising with the frustration, anger, and sorrow that will never leave us when fate and tragedy change our lives.

"Soul Retrieval" by Tony Vani and Debbie Hoskin (Adult Contemporary Artists from Canada (CA))

"Soul Retrieval" by Tony Vani and Debbie Hoskin is a refreshingly eclectic and inspiring album that spans various genres including adult contemporary and adult rock. Emerging out of bitter loss and tragedy, "Soul Retrieval" seeks to heal broken hearts and immortalize the memories of lost loved ones. This CD achieves these goals using heart-felt lyrics that venture into fond memories of the past and hopeful reunions of the future. Backed by skillful instrumentation, passionate vocals, and memorable melodies, these tunes take on a life of emotions that strikes at the hearts strings. "Shout It Right Out Loud" demonstrates the heavy emotional atmosphere these tunes carry, while flaunting beautiful three-part harmonies. Moreover, "Its So Hard" takes on a nice rock-edge that expresses the frustration of great loss. Polished to perfection with careful production, this CD is a must-have! Fans of inspirational pop, easy-listening, and adult rock will find healing and closure in this emotional collection.
