This is the English version of the song "Kanonikotita" which is based on a Greek poem by konstantinos Dilzas. The Greek Version of the song counted over 8000 views at youTube, the so beautiful comments and the success of the song "do you remember?" lead the producing team to record it in an English Version.

Music: DJ sparkey
Lyrics: Tina Refenes
Sound Engineer: Petros Petropoulos
Studio: Polyphoniki Studio Athens
cover: Andrew X

The song is based on a true story and describes the way a man who loved so much his "other half" has to face the reality of being neglected and discarded.

It is a very sad song full of realistic moments described in english by Tina Refenes after long term conversations with konstantinos
LYRICS:

I learned, during those two and a half years,
to count the passage of days differently,...

Following the afternoons, came the evenings..
then came the nights ...

The evenings...
When I left one neighborhood, to come and find you, in another,
from one corner of the city, to the other,
With overflowing happiness in my heart,
my arms open wide in a gigantic embrace ....

When I entered our nest, forgetting everything else...
When I waited for you to come...
When you came...
When you loved me...
When we lived together...
When we slept together ...

And then came the mornings,
Lips scorching my skin as I sleep...
Brushing my chin...
Kissing my mouth...

Awake, I found your message on my mobile...
Your message, ...
My lifeline..
My incentive, to start work in the morning!
"KALIMERA MAROKI MOU.!!!"

All Of These... so much...!
And the days passed normally,
Mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights...
Mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights....

Now the hours appear strange...
The day seems strange too, it ends too quickly..,
And then comes the night
All too fast...
And its constant night,
And there is no morning,
And there is no message...
And there is only emptiness and the darkness invades...

I am as dead to you I know ...

I am not...

Do you hear me? x
