This song was written way back in 1990, after a detox from Heroin that I went through. I found a four track recording of it after going through some old tapes I had in storage. It brought back some powerful memories of a really dark period in my early years, and early attempts at getting clean. Sadly the girl that is calling for me to wait was a friend that had passed away, and it also took about ten more years to get myself out of the slavery of addiction. I got there slowly, but surely, with help. After transfering what I could from the tape to Nuendo DAW, I added some more parts. New drums, and vocals. And hey presto! a mix of old and new together.
