Part 3 of a 10-part exploration of "You Were My Sunshine" (yes, it's the familiar tune, but changed to past tense to make it bluesy). Recorded in Greer, SC with my amazing guitarist friend Brad Tretola.
Brad and I chanced on the basic idea for this, and then I hit record and we went for it. I'm actually not too embarrassed at how my off-the-cuff lyrics turned out. Brad is, of course, brilliant.
