Acoustic pop with influences from country and folk.

"This is a lovely piece, the singer has a great voice and she uses it to good effect, the guitar and harmonica also complement the voice perfectly, it’s all really well done, the vocals are really clear and the lyrics have meaning that people will identify with as well." -Tracktesters

”How I Am” was first recorded in her home in southern stockholm and was later arranged with melodica, bass and violin by musician/songwriter/producer Michael Caplin (Norway/Sweden) as an internet cooperation. The new studioversion has improved recording and Elin Lindberg is playing the violin.
Maybe I´m trying to hard to make you love me
and why am I trying so hard to breath when my air is free?
I´m always on my way to somewhere else
and when I´m there I´ll soon be on my way back
to where I came from.

I´m not sorry
I´m not leaving
I have no excuses, no reason or nothing to explain
I have everything, I have nothing
I have nothing on you
I ask nothing of you
Well maybe you could ask me how I am?
How I really am

I know I sound ungreatful, impossible,
but we were all born into discontent and complaint.
In the emptiness that comes with perfection
you will find happiness is just another way of depression
but I wouldn´t want it any other way.

I´m not sorry
I´m not leaving
I have no excuses, no reason or nothing to explain
I have everything, I have nothing
I have nothing on you
I ask nothing of you
Well maybe you could ask me how I am?

Always the feeling of missing out,
of being left out,
so I try to escape from it all.
But the silence gets to loud
I need to be where it all goes down

Hey...

I´m not sorry
I´m not leaving
I have no excuses, no reason or nothing to explain
I have everything, I have nothing,
I have nothing on you
I ask nothing of you
Well maybe you could ask me how I am?
How I really am

Is this what makes me last priority?
