One More Song was a lot of fun to record. The production plan seemed to unroll right in front of us like a red carpet or something. The gang vocals at the end were a lot of fun to do... trying to teach those guys the lyrics and all their strange inflections. It was pretty funny. Ben and Derek came up with great percussion parts over the verses... it gave the song a more industrial feel which turned out to be pretty cool.

Josh Foster - vocals, piano, rhodes
Tom Gilbert - guitar, vocals
Kyle Cornett - bass, vocals
Ben Jacoby - drums, percussion

This song was written in sections. I started on the verses months and months before I settled on a bridge and additional lyrics. It's about being fed up with a situation, realizing that you have done all you can, coming to grips with the fact that you have wasted endless amounts of time with it and being completely pissed off because of those things. I felt like all I was doing was writing about the same topic over and over again and that it was time to move on
I'm finding my own way out of here and I'm only taking one of my way. you can mentally sit on the fence all day but I'll have the time of my life and no one can take that away from me anymore. I'm right I'm right I know I'm right so hear me out cause this is my turn to speak or scream. I'm gonna say this from the top of my lungs clear as I can but as clear as I could would never produce the effect so stop and listen good. I won't write one more song about what happened and what went wrong, I'm moving on because it's time for a change, a change in my life I'm ready to just let this go and leave you by yourself for awhile till you finally know how hard it is to be alone x
