Right from the opening melody Michael, I was hooked on this beautiful summer of love song .. there's just something about some songs that make me feel .. how shall I say .. well, like just everything is so beautiful .. so right .. and so perfect now that summer is here ... a song that instantly makes me think about that one oh so very special person in my life who means so much to me, who I don't think I could live without ... and who I'd love to spend the summer day and night with at some place like maybe Coney Island .. ride the Ferris Wheel .. go through The Tunnel of Love .. and share Cotton Candy and Candy Apples with. Crazy isn't it, but I've felt that way for years about many songs that have come out it seems just at that perfect moment every summer for lovers in love - Jerry Wallace with "Primrose Lane" many years ago did that to me. Your lyrics and warm, soft, romantic voice make me feel all of those things Michael .. makes me just want to put my ragtop down, get my girl beside me, put my arm around her, hold her tight and feel the warm summer sun brushing against our faces and the wind in our hair .. and taste her sweet little Candy Kisses - the kind that make me think about that really quaint and quiet out-of-the-way little Drive-In Motel a little farther down the road where she would make all my dreams and "wishes come true" . This is a wonderful song Michael .. a great song .. a song that makes life feel so perfect, so wonderful and so beautiful .. and it feels just perfect having "Candy Kisses" here on Legendary Music.
