East to the dawn we go, it's a long trip
Sailors and passengers on a great ship
Will it all be revealed in the next clip?
The ones you know and the ones you don't know
East to the dawn

The word’s goin' round there's a room to spare
A dollar a day, gotta work your fare
Go east young man, and better grow your hair
Birds of paradise, work and money's there
East to the dawn

They're waving and screaming there at the gate
Brothers and sisters and those on a date
Beautiful strangers thrown together by fate
They will set sail before the day is done
East to the dawn

Bridge
Everybody's laughin', everybody's singin'
Open your heart t’enjoy
Everybody's happy, all the girls and boys
Open their hearts t’enjoy

Solo

East to the dawn we go, it's a long trip
Amelia Earhart’s children on a great ship
Dolphins will swim ahead, it’ll all be hip
The ones you know and the ones you don't know
East to the dawn

You wake to music from ship to the shore
Prophetic sounds at perception’s door
They say you’ve come down but you can’t be sure
You wanted wisdom but they gave you a cure
East to the dawn

Wow! The feel of that guitar playing reminds me of Hendrix. Nice song Eagle Dudes! It seems like this one is taking us on a trip. -M-

NATURE ENTER ME!
The beginning, a faint glow in the eastern sky, stillness breaks, to birdsong

The Talent Searcher
Eaglehead & Steve April create a song with a mix of prog rock, psychedelia and late 60s feel and lyric build over imagination . Spacey guitars and laidback rythm section create an atmosphere that can relax a high executive of General Motors or the like .Gread lead guitar . The Eaglehead Experience , go for it and don´t get nervous .

Voices -Outside the Box Two
This is a mesmerizing song recalling the psychedelic rock of the late 60's and early 70's. A tremendous piece of work.

Cosmic Slop & Mutant Pop
Lovely

The Monkey68 One Song Station
Collision of genres - friction, erosion, communiqué-tion. Very cool.

ALtErNaTiVe ReTrO aNd PsYcHeDeLiC
Reminds me of mellow Jimi Hendrix and early Fleetwood Mac-Great influences!..Very free-spirited,atmospheric,melodic and has an almost serene blissed out quality..Really evocative,beautiful..

International IMP Artists

The chords strums are perfect. Embellished (!!) by further licks and great lyrics.

The Gift
I really enjoyed diving into Eaglehead's page again... I was reminded how much I like the composition of their tunes, I was jammin' or swaying to every song. I narrowed my decision down to this one and another... I like the meaning in the song 'Maverick'... however when I listened to 'East To The Dawn'... it placed me in a lounge chair on a sunny Sunday afternoon soaking in the rays... with a glass of ice tea in hand. Either that or in a room with a black light and psychedelic images cast upon the wall messin' with my head. Either way I like it.
