Beneath the Sand is the fifth song we have completed. It's a pretty synth heavy tune...Vocal duties are split between Randall (on verses) and Eric (choruses). Also, while recording Randall decided to pull the bass part out of left field...It's pretty different, but it fits. We hope you enjoy it....

I was mesmerized by you
I could sink into your eyes and never look away
and feel the warmth of your embrace

In this garden of delight
You there by my side
Your hair as gentle as the breeze
There's nowhere i would rather be

As we lie hand in hand beneath the sand
Forever only you and me.

Forever with you my dear
Forever by your side here

A hundred years have long since passed
You're still at my side
Your fingers rotted to the bone
But no more rotten than my own

I'm still mesmerized by you
And your faded yellow hue
Your touch as gentle as the breeze
As this is how it's meant to be

As we lie hand in hand beneath the sand
Forever only you and me

Forver with you my dear

A thousand years have long since gone
The world above us has died
And everyone has passed
Our bodies worn away at last

I'm still mesmerized by you
And the dust we've assumed
Decay as gentle as the breeze
And this is how it's meant to be

As we lie hand in hand, sand in sand
Forever it's still you and me

Forever with you my dear
Forever by your side here

Although metal isn't really my genre, Dwell always held my attention for some reason. So, my more philosophical friends: ponder on the apparent unfairness of the universe, where talent doesn't always count
