"Take Five" is currently public domain, but was originally composed by Paul Desmond, star saxophonist with Dave Brubeck. "Take Five" was released on the project titled "Time Out," by the Dave Brubeck Quartet in 1959 on the Columbia/Legacy label.
SoundProof's version of "Take Five" is completely different from the original. We wish we could release more of our cover songs, but alas, most are not public domain.
