A blend of Celtic vocal harmonies and alternative hip hop fusion, results in great road song.

Music & Lyrics by Madd KD & Chip Miller
Produced, Recorded & Performed by Madd KD & Old Sand Mill
Lead Vocal by: Madd KD
Opening Vocals by Old Sand Mill
Additional Vocals by C-Hip, DJ J.J. & Michael Reynolds
Percussion by: Madd KD, Danny Abuda, Chip Miller & Jada Bharat Das Albano

A haunting blend of vocal harmonies open the track in a Simon & Garfunkel vibe, when the sound of a Harley Motorcycle suddenly drives the song into a hip hop fusion of sounds in a topical protest against injustice. It is the theme song for the 2024 movie, "Ride To Justice" written by Old Sand Mill's Chip Miller. Kevin Sorbo directs.
INTRO/OPEN LYRICS

Good mornin’, good mornin’, my fair eastern seashore
I wonder what wonders you flung from your hair
Pink shells from Cairo like embarked vessels
Timber timed tragic from some weary shore

RAP LYRICS

From the depths of my soul, with bleeding hands, I pound
Up on the concrete to release the chains that bind me
Let my cries for freedom ring be silent for nevermore
Let it burn through the ears and the hearts of those that hear me sing

Lord knows of the hell that I've been through right now
Only my tears can be the voice that can explain
The numbing of my heart protects those that may want to
Speak upon the terror all the killing and the pain

Tell me can I live through all this dysfunction
Cuz’ somewhere in hell I still see the faces and dead bodies
Burning flesh is your reward for your iInsurrection
The flag for which it stands, in God's eyes will sort them out

Judge and jury lies in the hands of the barrel gun
Let me ride on metal horseback through forsaken country
Is it an illusion of Burning Sands and heat wave Tides?
Or is it these meds from the VA that got me
Fried from the ride?

CHORUS

Love, war, Justice, Freedom, live and let live!
Love, war, unity, equality, the power is in your hands
Love, war, freedom, unity, live and let Live..
War, justice, love, peace, you got to take a stand

To sympathize the civilized there's no excuse for no morality
Let it be and let them live is what you force upon society
By every means to keep the populace in fear and poverty
What it means is one will rise up to bring your demise

Here comes the militarized piece of a man that's a killer
You denied those of love, so feel the wrath of a sinner
There's no profiting in peace, but the cost for peace is war
But to keep the peace you must be in preparedness for war

So he fights against oppression, them that die because of love
And may God forgive he that slayed my friend that's up above
How can you turn away when people are in Siege and Desperation
And the government won't help cuz’ they're the cause for what ya’ go through

The willingness to live another day with this PTSD
And this high anxiety up at the VA
Community Revolution brings the heat wave tide
Or is it the burning of the sand that's got me
Fried from the ride?

CHORUS
Love, war, justice, freedom, live and let live
Love, war, unity, equality, the powers in your hands
Love, war, freedom, unity, live and let live
War, love, justice, peace, you got to take a stand

So I stand to take a stand with every means to confront you
With every move, is my purpose to correct that in which you do
Whatever you do never again, will you control us?
Nothing to lose and all to gain in this town…of Justice

My heart doesn't pump no fear so tell the hog homeboy
I'm ready to come and bring it. We were few, but now we're many
To say the words that fuel the spirit that ignites Revolution
Make him pay the piper for all of what was did in retribution

It's the words of the ancestors speaking to me through this drum
I'm in a trance as the warrior smoke is filling my lungs
Breathe in, breathe out. Cock the barrel of peace so you can feel
The power burning through the bowels of your soul
Breathe out, breathe in. And watch me hit him again with the fire
From the moment I uncock to reload

Put the power in the people when your government is corrupted
And enforcement that protects to serve the people is overfunded
The town of Justice is not its war-torn buildings, it's what's inside
Or is it the meds kicking in that’s got me
Fried from the ride?

CHORUS
Love, war, justice, freedom, live and let live
Love, war, unity, equality, the power is in your hands
Love, war, freedom, unity, live and let live..
War, love, justice, peace, you got to take a stand
