Fellow I knew years ago pretty much gave up family for alcohol, becoming essentially a street drunk. He stayed in California for 10 years, and proudly told of when Nick Nolte pulled out his last $5 bill and gave it to him. He returned here in the spring of 1993 and was promptly arrested on an old warrant (no doubt apocryphal) charging him with some totally out-of-character armed robbery. I bailed him out of the Suffolk County Jail. Two days later he was found dead in some bushes in Brookline with an empty vodka bottle. Claiming his body, I learned his eyes had been removed by some eye bank. Looking back, I think I became a sympathetic alcoholic for a month or two, and then I made up this fucking song.

'my life's a desert, and I'm dying here of thirst-no matter heaven or hell...I just wanna' get there first...wake up in the morning and wander' x

Compelling story line to this tune,I recommended you read it first before you listen. Take the time to immerse yourself in this journey of a life experience, of one mans tragedy and another who was the saint of sorts bailing out and taking care of his friend, I commend this guy who put his feelings and emotions in to this happening groove. A monologue here and there. with some cool vocals. very trippy tune retro jimi hendrix deep into the 60s it goes in the stylization, great guitar cool percussion, lots of depth in the lyrics, and overall a candidate for FEATURED SONGS. Highly recommended to anyone who digs the psychedelic vibe. Review by Bryon Tosoff, voted station manager of the year 2015 to 2019

Adventurers, Jugglers, Minstrels
a dramatic intro, w heavy strings and guitar, a bold piece, that catches a subterranean vibe, flowing' from a well of experience sounds like, vocals w fx add atmosphere and interest, sketchy life-on-the street saga, neon light neo-noire stuff, desperation, mean streets, poetic, creative piece, kudos...
