The track “Don't Revel” is the only song from this EP written about my personal experience. I had been off and on with someone for many years, I didn't know how I really felt about it all. In the end, it was more of a blur. I couldn't get excited about it, and I had to end it.
“Don't Revel” was the wake-up call to myself and the person, don't celebrate-we didn't do much.
I found a sound and I reversed it and it sounded like someone threw some guitars and violins in a blender. I wrote from there, as it seemed to match my feelings at the time. I wrote the song, sent it over to my co-producer Katmaz in Brooklyn, and we worked on it, as a last-minute add to the High Dive EP
