"Obey" reduces the Relay/Conclave order to its command rhythm. The song's repetition makes obedience feel like conditioning rather than belief: a chant drilled into bodies until collapse and compliance sound like the same motion.
Placed after the album's escape material, the track feels like the voice of the system still echoing behind the fugitives. Even outside the room, the command keeps trying to follow.
