Imagine a quiet, reflective narrator—perhaps someone who's known this person for years, a friend, a partner, or even a family member—who watches their beloved slowly drift away. Two weeks have passed since they last saw that genuine, radiant smile, the one that used to light up everything. Now there's a veil between them: not anger or betrayal, but a subtle, heavy emotional distance. The loved one is shrouded in their own quiet sadness. When their friend sits lethargic and low—maybe curled on the couch, staring out the window, barely responding—the narrator feels the weight of it. Outside, ambitious winds push in layers of bright white clouds that gradually harden, age, and turn into empty gray. The sky mirrors the inner weather: starting hopeful and vibrant, but slowly freezing into something colorless and distant. Yet even in that shift, the narrator whispers to the sky (and to the person it represents): Azure sky – may I comfort you? It's a gentle, reverent plea—let me be there for you the way you once were for me.As light fades and the world quiets at dusk, the loved one slips away again—not physically, but mentally, emotionally—into another time and place the narrator cannot follow. Dreams? Memories? Depression? A private grief? Whatever it is, it's a realm where the narrator isn't invited, and they can't ask their loved one to "emerge bright and clear" so the narrator can feel strong and whole again. The dependency is mutual but uneven: Azure Sky, will you comfort me?The chorus becomes a mantra of surrender and hope. The azure sky (the person) is stuck in the mind like an obsession, yet under that clear blue everything feels lighter. What are worries? What are troubles under an Azure Sky? In those rare moments when the veil thins and the sky is pure, troubles evaporate. The narrator begs for that comfort again: Evaporate my troubles. Nullify my worries under an Azure sky?Later, a pale moon rises, offering a soft, silvered second chance. It traces the hem of a d
Azure Sky

Two weeks and I haven’t seen your smile
There is a veil that keeps you far from me
When your friend Sole sits lethargic and low
Ambitious winds layer clouds of white
That age with ice into empty gray.
Azure sky – may I comfort you?

When light fades and the world seems to rest
You are off to another time and place
Somewhere I cannot follow you
Or ask you to emerge bright and clear
So that I can be at my best
Azure Sky will you comfort me?

Azure sky I can’t get you off my mind
What are worries?
What are troubles under an Azure Sky?
Azure Sky – will you comfort me?
Forget my troubles.
What are worries under an Azure sky?

(Lead Break)

Pale moon offers a new found purchase
As she runs the hem of your dress
Seeking the spot that will age and shift with time
Your changes embellish subsequent days.
Azure Sky – may I comfort you?

When light and the world seems to rest
You are off to another time and place
Somewhere I cannot follow you
Or ask you to emerge bright and clear
So that I can be at my best
Azure Sky

Azure sky I can’t get you off my mind
You are my pillowed fresh step
My instant thought abatement.
Azure Sky – will you comfort me?
Evaporate my troubles.
Nullify my worries under an Azure sky?
