Born and raised in the Bronx, Rafael Lugo decided to make his mark at a young age. Like most kids born in the tough streets of the nations urban capitol, he dabbled in things he was not too proud of in order to survive. Through calculated moves that he has made in his life, Rafael earned the respect of the New York streets and yeared for a better life. Although he struggled, he does not regret anything he has done. Ralph Lugo started writing rhymes at the age of fourteen. Using his passion for true hip-hop, he put his pen and pad to work. He began formulating rhymes and battled on the countless blocks to earn the name, Skitzo. His intense energy and lyrical ability were the backing for the title and his goal was to revive hip-hop to what it was at its inception. He relocated to Florida where he has honed his skills and made his mark. His signature was to use hard hitting punchlines to accentuate his lyrics. He is so passionate about hip-hop that he had "Liviing's a Hobby, Hip-Hop's My life" tattooed on his forearm. With countless shows, a couple mixtapes already out in the streets, television appearances on Rhythm City, and feature film projects, Skitzo is ready to take the world by storm. Currently the C.E.O of Prezidential Recordz, Skitzo continues to refine his style, advance the careers of new artists, and educate today's youth on the essence of true hip-hop in its truest form. It has been a long road for this younr artist from the Bronx and although the music has taken him on and long journey, he has never forgtten his roots in New York, or his fans which have supported his career.
