It’s been said if you want to feel good, go and watch MelaSouth play live. MelaSouth has a down to earth presence which captures the audience and allows them to join the experience. You won’t find any member of the band trying to outshine the others but you will see moments when each member lights up the room. In 2001, Charles Young, Jeff Doyle, Lluis Figueras, and Ennio Reidel started a cover band you’ve probable never heard of. The band quickly developed a reputation for intense sessions that attracted a solid fan base. The members of MelaSouth are an eclectic group that come from different parts of the world. Jeff and Charles are from California and gain influences from West coast cultures where as Ennio is from Mannheim Germany gaining his influences from, well anywhere but Mannheim, and Lluis is a professional Artist, from Barcelona, playing with Spanish bands such as lick-em and stick-em and liquor in the front and poker in the rear.
