hi,

Added "Waterfall" to a station, a sonic tapestry, w strong vocal, guitar finesse, the falsettos are a special touch, kudos. "Sarah" also strikes a chord, KUDOS...

Rawk!!!

"Never Going Back" is in the finals "2009 Songwriting" here at IAC. Making it this far is good enough for me, nice indeed.

Mid winter downunder...she's been blowing a gale down here in New Zealand past week, but the sun shines today. Smack bang in the middle of winter here, strange for you in the northern hemisphere to imagine this I'm sure. Time I cozied up and made some more music.

Hey Larry....thanks for dropping by with the kind commentary (and the station add). Been admiring your work since you got here. Glad you went prime. (just curious...P90's in your Gibby?? Sweet sounding axe)

Just a hello after the hiatus off line, June 08 this place got infiltrated by those with seemingly no appreciation of a good song, or frankly, even a bad song. Might as well just punch themselves in the nose cos in the end, we're all in this together.

Anyway, moving on... my new video of "I Wanna be Free" is listed here, best vid I've done yet.

Two new songs added, both from my new album "Never Going Back". Ellan Vannin especially is very different to my usual fare, my ancestors came from the Isle Of Man (Killip is a Manx name), so I felt duty bound to do something "Manx" and this is the result. The BeeGees did a fantastic version but mine is quite different.

Hey Larry,

Thanks so much! The admiration is mutual! Good pop deserves to be heard around the world! Speaking of good pop, I saw Tim Finn here in Austin last month. Great Show!

Wishing you much joy and success!

UFO - song added Feb 11th, my son Robin plays guitar on this one, adds a bit of grunge. I set the autotune plugin to hard right...got the "cher" vocal thing...corny but seems to suit this I reckon. This was the last song to be produced for my Never Going Back album and I got a tad "loose" with the production but I like it that way...that's also why I flicked the autotune to full, what the hell.

"I Wanna Be Free" has made it into the Cashbox Magazine charts, this is very cool. I wrote this song a long time ago then decided to do a remake in late 2007...glad I did.

Thanx for dropping by my page and listening. I need to redo my Station and include one of your songs. I hear the Santana-esque in "Wanna Be Free" but you are playing your own style rather than imitating. Your voice on "Never Going Back" reminds me of Tom Petty and it's only the chorus which is a bit Beatles.

You've got a very strong sense of melody. You'll hear when I get around to adding on my Station!

Catch ya later, Larry.

Another song from my new album "Never Going Back" just uploaded, "I Wanna Be free" is unabashedly 70's/80's santana but with a modern groove using a drum loop and some funky bass lines. BTW all purchased files here download at full mp3 res. (320).
