Scrambled Eggs
So, I was thinking about how, while Paul McCartney was fooling with what would become "Yesterday", he was using "Scrambled Eggs." I thought - what if he had kept on in that vein? So I wrote that song. Sing it to the tune of "Yesterday."
Scrambled eggs
Are my very favorite kind of eggs
No more fried, or poached, or hard-boiled eggs
Oh, I believe
In scrambled eggs
Marmalade
I can't wait until my toast is made
I like nothing more than marmalade
Except, of course
For scrambled eggs
No! No sausage please
I'm a vegetarian
No ham, none of these!
Just some toast and scrambled eggs!
Scrambled eggs
And some wine drawn from my own oak kegs
We will drink it till we drain the dregs
And then we'll have
More scrambled eggs
