Understood Chris.
Still I'm tired of all this AI shit. A while back I thought of creating an AI song to protest myself but I opted not to do It.
It's great that you did this.
You speak for me as well.
Norm.

I'm with you 100% Norm. AI is the take over of everything & people catering to it are really asking for the worst! It makes nothing but mistakes because it was produced by a flawed human.

Ì love AI. Do I love it as much as playing music? Of course not! But I get à kick out of it. The technology is in its infancy, and I refuse to be left behind. While all the haters are changing horse shoes and shoveling road apples, I'm going to learn how to change tires and work on horseless carriages. Vroooom!

AI is actually boosting my inner creativity. It's like a learning tool to me. And it's also like a musical computer game. I'll bet some of you would dig it if you gave it a shot. Look at Bryon. He is creating good tracks with it. Holoworks, too. And Donna. Don't get left in the dust by it. I honestly believe some of you haters would dig it if you approached it with an open mind.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the blog, and to everyone who played and enjoyed the video.
Norm,
W.E.Ervine,
Larree,
Larree AI,
Bryon Tosoff,
I'd like to say that I understand the attraction to the new tech, and don't think anyone is wrong to embrace it.
On the other hand I haven't got my head halfway round the tech that I do have at present, I'm still learning how to work software synths lol.
So I personally don't have any need for AI to make music, at the moment....

I am sitting with my piano, two of them, they both love me , one is an acoustic upright yamaha and the other is a rhodes piano i have had for over 40 years I gave away a piano as well since I had not enough room in my studio for it.
I want to get a grand piano for upstairs living room yet it would not fit lol
Maybe someday though. . in my next life

I have nothing against AI. If people use it as a tool to musically express themselves I am all for that. But, for me. I am hooked on that inner inspiration that floods my soul and gives me the knack to reproduce what i am hearng in my heart. That is what has kept me mpotivated all these years. I am sure that AI is a good tool but I would not help but think that working with AI would actually be somebody else's work and not purely my own. I would feel obligated to give a credit to the programmer of the AI. I'm just saying, originl work is original work. It shoudl come from within you and not from some automated AI system. I wouldn;t be surprised if after a while ll of thw AI songs start sounding alike. Ag=few programmers a few original songs. Also, I don't want to become a lazy artist who allows a machine to do everything. That would suck also. I am a sngwriter and producer who loves to sonfwrite and produce I may not be the best but I can attest to the fact that I perform everything on my recordings myself. I my be a dying breed but when I am gone nobody will be able to say that my shit was not original.

This is not "Political"... or is it? "Polarizing"... Lots of "activity happening" and "going on and on and on"... "Opposites Attract"... Welcome Thine "Enemy" as A "Friend"... kinda like havin' sex... it feels like it's gonna hurt, but NO! Don't STOP! Not yet! PLEASE...

I do get it, Norm. But AI is the new thing. At least it's not politics!
|
|

Bryon Tosoff
|
2/3/2026 1:44:36 PM
“The word ‘politics’ is derived from ‘poly’ meaning ‘many’ and ‘ticks’ meaning ‘parasites’”, and the word ‘ticks’ meaning ‘blood sucking parasites’” is a humorous etymology of the word “politics’
so all political engaged representatives whether democrat republican or liberal or conservative are blood sucking parasites in and around the world.
We put trust in those we vote for, yet for the most part these peoples start off well meaning but eventually turn in to those blood sucking parasites and suck us all dry . taxes and more taxes , graft and cheating become the normal way these days.
