The Math
Hello everyone,
I'm back with new music. I've been many years on this album (don't even want to say how many), learning to work a DAW.
Here is a song called The Math
Drums: Matt Perez
Upright Bass: Ava Perez
Eurorack Synths: Thelonious Elliott
Congas: Parker Elliott
Guitars, Vocals, Roland Synth: Bob Elliott
The album is streaming on all the platforms. It is called Everybird, and you can click that title to get to links to many of the major platforms. Or if you look up "Everybird", Bob Elliott on any platform, you will find 47 minutes of new music for your ears.
I thank you always for your support.

Bob that was great, you have achieved some sort of pure flow. It reminded me of this album I love that it never made any sense that I like ~ Sleeping Gypsy by Michael Franks. What you do is so unique though, the touches of percussion shine, you've always had a way with that, and the spaceyatmospherics towards the end of the song took it to a whole other level. Reminded of Music On My Mind by Stevie Wonder.
just yet another reminder that the best music being made in the world right now is indie.

This song is like a breath of fresh air! It’s both ambitious and creative with kind of a Steely Dan vibe. The vocals and varied instrumentation really capture an atmosphere that is dreamy and other worldly.
Kudos to all involved! I did the math and it all adds up to a hit!

Bob,
My go-to mantra these days is, "It's a divine comedy, but hard to tell."
Gee, what a coincidence...(only an older person would understand)
rock on, musical atmosphere,
Steve

I listened to the album this morning during coffee and whatnot time. Nice mellow mood. I enjoyed the small percussion bits sprinkled on top, sounds like finger snaps or wooden blocks, maybe some chimes. Sound like they sit on top of the stereo mix. I’m sitting there drinking coffee and whatnotting trying to figure out where the sounds were coming from, what is that? Then I realized it was just Bob Elliot lol. Thanks for making it.

Something’s wrong with my eyes now
They don’t see so well
She said it’s only a dark cloud
Makes it hard to tell
Thanks for the listen, Steve

Jingo- I am so glad you heard the album. I think a lot of the sparkly percussion comes from my son Thelonious playing his Eurorackck synth. They’re like old style synth modules where you only use dials, no keyboard. Dials and wires and modules acting on modules.
Thank you for spinning our album.
