More AI
I didn't want to send Steve April's excellent thread off on a whole different topic, and give a nod to Mortimer's AI thread here too.. and Larree's research...
Before I begin I have to state that AI will certainly alter everything and will eventually be a very bad thing for the vast majority of humanity. But as it pertains to music, it can certainly entertain us on the way out. I hope I'm wrong.
While the earlier AI classics appear to have been written by eighth grade boys, it's evolved. The first one I was absolutely knocked out by was "I Think I Just Shit In My Pants," which is pisspants funny. It also has a genuine Stax Records sound and feel and a great "vocal."
(comments are funny too)
Like the old programming adage: Garbage In - Garbage Out. But in the hands of a skilled songwriter, it can be an incredibly wonderful tool.
This account is creating an album seemingly every week. The lyrics are polished and the meter is perfect. The "band" is unbelievable.
Cigarettes and Stardust
This one features a voice that may have been lifted from our own Melody Gardot. The only hint I find is the word "compliclated."

I am genuinely concerned about the influence AI is going to be going forward is it going to be good or bad for Humanity who knows. What i know it is only as good as the programmers if they have good intentions. I am sure it would be quite easy to create an AI which almost seems God like. You can now buy an AI robot for 20000 dollars or 500 a month called NEO does all the shitty jobs you don,t want to do. There is much more coming cheaper and faster.
I robot was a documentary not a Hollywood blockbuster. This is the concern i have if these robots do all the shitty jobs what happens to all the people who rely on that for a living. The devil in disguise
