Brandon "Woody" Hilton is a guitarist–a fact which introduces him but does not define him.

Currently, Brandon is lead guitarist and backing vocals for the Chris Juhlin Project. This band is focused on delivering quality folk-rock, Americana, and funky pop songs for the masses. Drummer Paul Ansotequi, and bassist Craig Commerford fill out the rhythm section.

In 2011 Brandon recorded a now nationally renowned CD a Stitch In Time by keyboardist Mike Prigodich, after playing live with the band for the previous year. The jazz-fusion record includes many great performers and recording artists such as Damian Erskine (Jaco Pastorias Big Band, Gino Vannelli, Peter Erskine), Reinhardt Melz (Gino Vannelli, Alex Acuna, James Carter), John Nastos (Mel Brown, Darrell Grant, Pink Martini), and other wonderful musicians including Patrick Lamb, Tim Jensen, and Rafael Trujillo. The album has since been aired on radio stations across the US and overseas. It recently won "Best of 2012" list on CBS Radio WXRT (93XRT) Jazz Transfusion show in Chicago hosted by Barry Winograd. The album has also caught the attention of many well known and legendary jazz artists such as George Whitty (Brecker Brothers, Chris Minh Doky), David Goldblatt (Tribal Tech), and many well trusted music organizations and magazines, as well as maintained a high rating on major Reverbnation charts in 3 categores. It remains the #1 most popular local album in Portland and high on the lists of other regional and national jazz charts.

He later joined a project in 2014 called Spheric, with Dave Dernovsek on keyboards, Joel Davis on bass, and Murray Gusseck on drums. Their goal was to make music that spans many genres, but that maintains a strong hold on elements of jazz-rock-fusion. They've released a 5 song EP, recorded live at Cloud City Studio (Formerly Super Digital) in Portland.

In 2012 Brandon won the 2nd place prize of the Classical Revolution PDX sponsored Oregon State String Composers Competition for his string quartet entitled, Sixteen Strings: Eight Hands–4 Bows–20 Lines–One Mind.

While studying music theory and composition at Central Washington University, Brandon composed and arranged many guitar ensemble, mixed ensemble, and solo works that were performed by both colleagues and faculty members. And before that, while attending Wenatchee Valley Community College, the jazz combo ensemble he was a part of took 2nd place in their division at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival Competitions.

Brandon is available for studio work and gigs on electric solid body or jazz guitar.
