ALANI CRYSTAL was born in Independent Samoa on Christmas night exactly at midnight in 1980. She is the fourth child of nine brothers and sisters. It wasn’t a surprise that she learned at an early age the rhythm of the South Pacific. Music and dance came naturally at an early age through singing at church and being taught the traditional hula. At the age of four she was adopted to a german couple and moved to a little village next to Munich, Germany. To continue to express her feelings she found the enthusiasm to learn the classical piano at the age of six and continues to play the piano till this day. At the age of seven Alani began learning the art of ballet and jazz dance. When secondary education ended she continued to follow the musical path that beckoned her. At the age of eightteen she studied musical dancing in Munich and through her continuous education she found passion and love for singing and performing on stage. In 2000 she left home and moved into Munich. Her work then begun as a choreographer for various dance companies, youth clubs and dance championships. She also taught jazz and hiphop dance to groups varying in ages from children to adolesecents. Meanwhile she learned to play the guitar and currently writes and composes her own songs with both instruments guitar and piano. Alani Crystal started singing in bars, youth clubs, private festivities and dance events around Munich. At the age of 22 her music attracted attention to an A&R from EMI Music Germany who believed in her potential talent and introduced her to talented musicans around Germany who helped her to record and preform her songs till this day. Alani Crystal is a gifted singer, songwriter and instrumentalist and feels the music flow through her spirtually and mentally from head to toe. She is open hearted, free spirited, loves to travel and is always considerate with everyday life and her surroundings. When Alani Crystal does finally succeed it is because she takes nothing for granted. Alani Crystal continues to grow in her musical career. Her music is her journey and her journey is her music.
