hello and welcome to the one of Life Rides many webpages. I think that in most biographies of bands they talk about where we started.
Life Ride started in Smithfield,Utah during our Sophmore year at Sky View High School(15yrs old). during that time we were called open eyed and Josh was the only person in the band then that is still in it now of course because he started the band. during our sophmore year at SV we made up to 20 song lyrics and most with melodies to get us started on what we would play.
During our now Junior yr. in High School we have over 50 full songs to show the world we lyrics that have definately progressed along with the rythm of the songs. We also have made a demo cd to get us out to the world and hope that we could get some kind of record deal.
Why do we want to become heard by the world you may ask? Well we have all dreamed ever since we were little to become famous and entertain people for a living and now we're getting that one chance. We also want to be recognized for the fact that we want people to be touched by our music, feel the way our lives are. We can only hope to be seen. But the one problem is that we're from Utah, and because of that everyone tends to just skip over us and think that it will be a mormon hymn or something i guess but if we can say one thing it would be that there are plenty of bands just here in the valley that should be on tour right now but for some odd reason we're not. All we want to say is give us a chance, trust us you won't regret it.
