In 1999, three guys in a Central Ky college decided to form a band. After a few months of trying to figure out a name, these three amigos decided on Prodigal Band, linked to a prayer ministry known as Prayersession. One of them left the band soon after the band found it's name, soon to be replaced by another member. However, by 2002, practice time was hard to come by, so the band desolved with two pursuing solo mixing projects, one of which has a music sight here at www.myspace.com/isanx. The third member began pursuing a solo music career. The latter, James Rathmann, took the name JRay. In 2003, JRay's debut album, "Jumpstreet" was finished, recorded independantly in JRay's apartment. On Dec 7th, 2003, JRay held his first concert at his home church at New Life Assembly of God in Berea, KY. On Valentine's Day, 2004, he held his second concert at the same church, which was billed as the Amazing Love concert. In the summer of 2004, another concert was held, billed as the Beaches of Forever concert. At the end of the summer, the second album was completed, titled "Beaches of Forever". All the music was recorded and mixed by JRay. Now, in search of musicians in the Kentucky area, I am determined to achieve my calling as a solo artist. Hey, I'm JRay, and I approve this Website!

Beaches of Forever
This is a re-recording of the song I had on here before that stayed near the top ten. this recording isn't quite finished yet. There is some equalizing and the bridge to record, but I'm so excited about it, I just had to post it. I'll change it when the finished productr is done. I'd like to thank Twilight Records in Las Vegas for allowing me to use their equipment and their drummer to record while I was there visiting a friend.

War Cry
On the verge of Rap and hip hop, this is a very in-your-face song about the real world.
