After Andy became disillusioned with life and music in London, he moved back home to Liverpool, facing huge debts and a lack of motivation, met up with his old friend Pete. This new direction and inspiration spurred him and them on to write music and form a band. They went through many a transition yet persevered, until Andy eventually met up with a red hot guitarist called Mike who knocked the socks off any previous pretenders. Fitz was already on board as Andy and Fitz had been threatening to start a band for a few years. The fundamentals were in tact and the band began, sounding amazing from the outset. Andy's deep knowledge of the bass and songwriting, coupled with Mike's musical sensibility and show stopping guitar performances (as well as being no slouch in the songwriting department either) showed everyone what they could do. Fitz's mastery of the drums always speaks for itself. Then tragedy occured when Pete had to move to London to live out an ambition, so The Zeks were yet again decimated. After finding the latest vocal incarnation the rest, as they say, is history (in the making). Watch for yourselves and see how these guys own the stage, and how their total understanding makes for amazingly great and unique music, with the soul of a thousand rock, soul and blues bands in their wake....
