PARADOX - A powerful Alternative Rock/Grunge Outfit hailing from Ireland whose music has gathered rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic for its unique diverse blend of melodic vocals, driven by cutting edge riffs. Formed in 1996, Paradox are a combination of three unique individuals, with distinctive musical backgrounds, each member contributing their own personal style. Brothers Pete & Mike Mac are solely responsible for all the performances on both Paradox releases, 'Circle of Growth' (Recorded in Los Angeles, Ca and released on US indie Label in 2002) and 'Sacred' (Recorded in Cork, Ireland and self released in 2004). Pete is responsible for all Guitar work, Bass and Vocals, on both albums, while Mike performs all Percussion, Drums, Backing Vocals, with the addition of Keyboards and Piano on 'Sacred'. They also participate on all production aspects of both albums. Pete Mac recorded and released his first solo album titled 'In Limbo' in 2009 followed by a solo tour in Germany. Pete plays all instruments on the album as well as producing the album himself. Paradox have toured both Europe and the US, are on rotation on 100's of internet radio stations and have built a steady fanbase worldwide from CD sales, their prominent internet presence and word of mouth....Paradox continue to work on a full time professional level, in a bid to ensure they reach their full potential.

'IN LIMBO' – the album (2009)
'In Limbo' is a collection of songs that date back as far as 2003, 14 songs written at different times, in different places over the space of 5 years. All music and lyrics are composed by Pete Mac. All instruments (Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Tambourine) are performed by Pete and he's also responsible for the production of the album. Tracks 5, 13 and 14 were recorded June 2005, Cork, Ireland on an analog 4-track home studio live. Track 9 is taken from Paradox album 'Sacred', recorded January 2004 at BPM Studios, Cork, Ireland. All other tracks were recorded throughout 2008 in Berlin, Germany. 'In Limbo' is an album of many moods, emotions, each song bringing across a different vibe. From the political outbursts of 'Corporate Pollution' to the atmospheric ambience of 'In Limbo', followed by the melodic waves of 'No Words' to the dischordent chops of 'Bury the World', 'In Limbo' takes a different musical direction from any previous Paradox sound.

'SACRED' (2004)
'Sacred' was recorded in 2 parts, 6 tracks recorded January 2003, the following
6 January 2004. All tracks were recorded at BPM Studios, Cork Ireland and
mastered at Xarc Mastering in Dresden Germany. 'Sacred' has recieved rave
reviews on both sides of the Atlantic and is widely available on the likes of
Amazon, CD Universe etc. also recieving much airplay on many FM and internet
Radio stations in Europe and the US. Brothers Pete and Mike Mac yet again
play all instruments on Sacred. Pete plays - Vocals, Guitars and Bass while Mike
plays Drums, Harmonies with the addition of Keyboards and Piano on this album.
'Sacred' is a major progression from the bands debut album, veering away from
their previous Punk Rock/Grunge sound to a more Melodic Alternative Sound that
the band has been thriving to achieve since their creation.

'CIRCLE OF GROWTH' (2002)
Debut Paradox album... Recorded in two weeks at Master Groove Studios in Los
Angeles Ca. and released on a US Indie label, 'Circle of Growth' defines the
bands earlier sound, A raw mix of Grunge, Punk and a few melodic acoustic
ballads in there too like tracks 'Infinite' and 'Shame for my name'. Brothers
Pete and Mike Mac are solely responsible for all performances... Pete performs
Vocals, Guitars and Bass while Mike performs Drums and Harmonies... The album
was recorded December 2000 and released Spring 2002...
