Eric Fischer

Eric Fischer was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 23, 1981. He became a classically trained pianist beginning his study of the piano at the age of seven, and he started composing original music while still in high school. He completed course work for a BA in business administration from the University of Florida, graduating with honors in 2002. When in college, he received formal vocal training, and he became influenced by a variety of musical styles including rock, r&b, jazz and new age. In February 2003, Eric got a job with Carnival Cruise Lines as a piano bar pianist/singer after building a repertoire of over 300 cover songs. Since then, he has performed on six cruise ships as well as at many venues in the southeastern U.S.

Though he is more renowned as a poet and author, few acts in the history of rock have as powerful a musical presence as Jim Carroll. His music burst upon the scene during the punk era, with a amazing record called Catholic Boy, filled with memorable songs which provide a combination of hard rock and lyrical depth unequaled in the annals of popular music. The band's live shows had a manic energy all their own - Carroll emitted a primal glow from the stage as he delivered the tribulations of his life.

DUTY
Looks like trouble (2008)
Duty was started by Kent and Anders as a test to see if their different music tastes could in someway be combined to create something interesting.
The goal was to create something new - a mix between techno/synth/rock.
In 2005 Jürgen joined the band as a guitarist.
And now finally DUTY has evolved into a project, still the same core members but other participants can come and go.... Listen for example to the brilliant version of "Looks like trouble" featuring Linda S. on vocals.....
