I was very lucky to have such great players add their parts to this song which translated the intensity that I had wanted throughout the music, they all did an awesome job and set the song on fire...
Also, on the album I have a second version of "Of Rapture", which is a hidden track. Recorded 2 months after I wrote the song, it is more acoustic based and very raw as it was just fairly new. I had a fabulous musician, Dan Morley, record this version and also add his own accompaniment with various instruments, it's very different sounding than this newer polished one that I have up, but it seemed to capture the raw edgeiness and primitive feel of the song and its beginning stages.

Some of my ideas for this song were also born from the movie, "The English Patient", I was so mesmerized by the music, scenery, and passion of the _____script and actors. I tried to bring from the movie what I had retained on an emotional level, and "Of Rapture" just came out. The music and lyrics were written in one day.
