Carl Jung= lyrics

As we meander around musically, Xanthan begins singing the text from a book written by Carl Gustav Jung. You may note that this text is somewhat different from what you would find in the original version of the book. See below...

Sermo II

In the night the dead stood along the wall and cried:

We would have knowledge of god. Where is god? Is god dead?

God is not dead. Now, as ever, he liveth. God is creatura, for he is something definite, and therefore distinct from the pleroma. God is quality of the pleroma, and everything which I said of creatura also is true concerning him.

From the writings of C.G.(Carl) Jung

Pleroma is a Greek word that has to do with filling or being full, or completing or being complete.

(in Gnosticism) the spiritual universe as the abode of God and of the totality of the divine powers and emanations.

****************************
During the night

The dead stood along the wall

And shouted,

“We want to know!”

All about god.

“Where is god?”

“Is god dead?”

God is not dead.

He is as much alive as ever.

God is the created world.

And as such he is

Something definite.

And therefore he is

Differentiated from the pleroma.

God is a quality of the pleroma.

And everything that I have stated

In reference to the created world

Is equally true of him. x
