Spoken word:
I am reminded as the sun sets and the forest becomes dark and strange and forbidding, of the time me and three friends took shrooms in the pavilion nearby. We were confined to that space by the rain, and an early spring chill. If you have never been on psychedelics before, here is some advice: Be with those you love dearly, be outdoors, and be able to run around and lose your mind. I remember a lightbulb in the ceiling that had somehow burst within its casing, spreading glowing blue luminescent liquid like a spiderweb all over the glass. The light it gave off was soft didn't seem to illuminate much but was present nonetheless, defined by its own substance rather than the absence of darkness around it. And I remember when a deer stopped in the field next to us in the spreading twilight. How we all stared into its eyes, shining even in the gloom. And how we all took off after it, bounding heedlessly into the rain.

Lyrics:
Whisper your secret in my ear/
Forest in the backdrop, and the water's lookin' clear/
I fear that we don't see, no we don't see what's in the dark/

and we're two cigarettes short of a good time/
but i'll drag on yours if you drag on mine/
I don't really mind, I don't really mind/
I feel a bit obliged to let you know/
that we're fine, that we're fine/ x
