Written just before Brain surgery.

All instruments and vocals: Steve Iannetti

Charcoal skies, hotter than hell.
My eyes are open, but it's hard to tell.

Give Me a blanket. I'm so cold.
I had a vision. A vision of "old".
And I know I will be brave,
but I fear I can't be saved.
I'm leaving the planet.

Dreamless nights and infinite days.
Blinding lights and hospital trays.

Give Me a blanket. I'm so cold.
I had a vision. A vision of "old".
And I know I will be brave,
but I fear I can't be saved.
I'm leaving the planet.

What can you say about Steve? That he is one of the best guitar slingers in all of indieland? That would be putting it mildly. Be sure to listen to all of his tracks. Not a clunker in the bunch.

Tympanali 1
Indie with attitude - Steve Iannetti ticks all the boxes for style, groove, feel, melody and lyrics that actually mean something.

Remarkable Institution of Amazing Hats
Scary brain stuff, don't leave the planet, we need yah!

Political Disaster
The important achievement of Apollo was demonstrating that humanity is not forever chained to this planet and our visions go rather further than that and our opportunities are unlimited. Neil Armstrong

IAC Songchain..
"Leaving the Planet" is a great toon full of predictable self-pity and negative feelings. I like the repeat of the 5 to 4 which lifts it out of the usual (overdone) 12-bar pattern. I also dug the economy of the lyrics the story was told in a few lines. My post: These kids are GREAT! http://iacmusic.com/songs.aspx?SongID=62165&ArtistID=109946"...............Reviewed By KRANKY KING

Blues Music is Truth
More at Rock, but lends some shades of colorful retro guitar groove...bluesy rock with some R and B , haunting vocals, and some very interpretive guitar work that leaves your head spinning. Steve is Phenom at writing lyrics and matching up so well with the music. Solid percussion and a nice supportive bass line works the songs magical quality, cool touches of organ patches throughout gives it a unique and special vibe that reflects a wonderment of sorts. stellar work all around. top notch production That guitar is wrapping its groove
