A song driven by a bouncy rhythm and acoustic guitar interplay.
The portrait of the song is completed by imaginative lyrics:
'The street-light gives you a little light to sleep by,
and i've a picture of you
looking through your window at the stars
I've seen the way you light up a room with your sweet eye
and i've heard you lie there and listen to the far off cars

Music & lyrics: Karl Sloan

On the track:
Karl Sloan: Vocals, Acoustic guitar, Acoustic lead
Chris Sloan: Acoustic rhythm, Keys
Dave Hodkinson: Bass
Phil Mabbett: Drums
Louisa Westney: Vocals

Suffice it to say it's a falling in love song. Which is probably why it feels quite upbeat. Karl had written the lyrics several years ago and after having a memory sparked, simply wrote the new music, shaped the old lyrics a bit and drafted them in. It became 'Daily Play'
p.s. (yes, unfortunately it does share it's name with a UK lottery game!)
