Those pictures invade every day
When it gets too much I sometimes look away
Almost invisible it used to be
The sheer magnitude it almost is engulfing
Consuming
Engulfing me
There’s a vision
That has not quite come to pass
When it gets here let’s make sure

There’s an image
That lies straight up ahead
When it gets here
Let’s make damn sure that it’s not already dead
They’re calling it globalisation
You can hear it on every station
The sheer size of it I am in awe
They’re wiping the whole crazy floor
There’s a motion that is yet to be passed

That must not be laid to rest
