Chasing the dream is what keeps you alive....

Music & Lyrics Vincenzo Pandolfi Copyright 2008

We all push our dream aside to carry on with the pressures of life. As I am getting older I believe that we should never let go of our dreams. Chasing a dream is more important than achieving it.

You can listen if you wish
To a small thing I have to say
You don’t have to, if you don’t want to
I am sure that you have…
Other things to fill your day

I am just a guy who is getting older
What could I have that you should hear?
just another little song
just one more lyric sung

Yet my life has just begun
Every day an inspiration
For this thing I have discovered

You can forgive yourself
For no money and no status
But you will never forget
The dreams you no longer dream

Never stop dreaming your dream
Never let go of your passions
is the dream that keeps you alive
gives the strength to carry on

have you ever felt a thrill
Something stirring from inside
That’s so strong it pulls you along
A passion I think you’d call it
I am sure that you have

The needs of life just take it over
Push it down for another day
Things more pressing and more important
Like more money and more status

Yet my life has just begun
Every day an inspiration
For this thing I have discovered

You can forgive yourself
For no money and no status
But you will never forget
The dreams you no longer dream

Never stop dreaming your dream
Never let go of your passions
is the dream that keeps you alive
gives the strength to carry on

I chose this one mainly because, Vincenzo, you can still get up there! I love that! Much feeling, much love.
