Some people spend their lives building castles...
Along comes the wind though, to take them away.
I'd rather spend my time living my dreams though.
I can't build tomorrow, but I've lived today.
Some people spend their lives making money...
Along comes the wind though, to take it away.
But, bowing to gold strikes me kind of funny.
I can't buy tomorrow, but I've spent today.
Some people spend their lives gaining knowledge.
Along comes the wind though, to take it away.
But, they'll never teach about love in a college,
and who wants to learn from a book anyway?
Some people wait their whole lives for tomorrow.
Along comes the wind though, to take it away.
But, I've found the best things in life here and now though,
So welcome tomorrow, but we have today.
Yeah, I've had the time of my life here with you though.
So who knows tomorrow? ...but, we've had today
