When all the world’s hidden treasure has been found out and pressed into the grindstone in the name of petty cash;
When all the world’s joy and pleasure is measured only in it’s weight in gold, and it’s cost in oil,

Maybe, maybe we’ll pretend that we don’t mind the world collapsing all around us.
Maybe, maybe we’ll be deaf to the crackling of the fires all around us.
‘til the last bell tolls on earth.

And when the floods reach the classroom, and we climb up on chairs and press our backs against the window, I’ll be happy to hold your hand; I’ll be so glad to have you.
And when the fires take the forest, I’ll still be happy to walk with you along the pathways that we frequented in our love.

Maybe, maybe we’ll pretend that we don’t mind the world collapsing all around us.
Maybe, maybe we’ll be deaf to the crackling of the fires all around us.
‘til the last bell tolls on earth.

Do you remember the lies that they told us as children?
‘You’ll walk in space. Yours will be the chosen generation.’
Well chosen for what? For this? What good has this done us?

Nothing but to make me realise how glad I am to have you now.

So let’s sit in a park, or up in a tree, or on top of a hill, just you, and me, and nature’s breeze, and nature’s earth; I’d be happy to pay so much more than this land is worth just to sit here, and savour this moment, ‘cause when is a moment like this gonna happen again? Not in this life and no, not in the next, ‘cause nature and love, well they’re only second best to consumption – the power of the buyer, a power so much greater than the power of the maker who made us. But what made us what we are? It was greed and avarice and solitude and single-mindedness; not being able to open our eyes or our ears to the cries of the earth.
And driven only by the fear of failure.

Driven only by this fear, wearing blinkers, well here we are – we’ve failed.

For me, the most important thing is to have you now and for always.
‘til the last bell tolls on earth.

Acoustic Meltdown
Another cool tune from Tim. I highly recommend you go check out his artist site!! Excellent material.

Cup 'A Tea
soft pleasantries and dire forebodings, with minstrel-y musical turns, a creative mixing...

Guitar & Pen
So english, so unusual, so terrific.
