We should look at ourselves before we judge others...Especially our partners!
Try not to judge me for this is not the way,
to chase your insecurities or keep your fears at bay.
When you judge another soul, one thing is for sure
That you will judge yourself much more than you ever did before.
I'm perfect in my imperfections; a friend once taught me so.
And hopefully I'll teach you things so one day you will grow.
We all have different qualities, neither right nor wrong,
and it is tolerance of others that will help us get along.
So every time you go to judge me stop and ask yourself,
Is it me you wish to change, is it me you are trying to help?
Or do you simply see me as a reflection of yourself,
and the fears you have about me are the fears of someone else.
I do not ever judge you or try to make you change,
I accept you for who you are, and I listen to your pains.
For I am comfortable with who I am, I love my quirky ways,
I'm special in my differences and I try to make the most of my days.
