Arcadian Heights I've been a big fan of these guys for about a year now after I saw them play at Scotlands T in the park festival. They write awesome melodic music which Ben Gibbard phrases the lyrics brilliantly over. The lyrics themselves are intelligent and powerfully emotional. Apart from Plans, The Photo Album and Transatlanticism are superb albums too. The Plans album is a real must for any music collection. Full of beautiful interwining guitars, awesome chord structures and lyrics that are out of this world. It is a gem of a record full of emotion and atmosphere.
