This is a personal song about post-bad times and looking for a little redemption. It's my personal "Paul on the road to Damascus" song. Whether you are a religious person or not, I think everyone goes through their own period of doubt. I sincerely hope everyone who listens can enjoy the song without reading too much into it.

written, performed and produced by Marty Brodell

I was primarily influenced by a mid 1960's ballad called "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" by Jimmy Ruffin. I've always enjoyed the Gospel influenced R&B of performers like Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Ruffin and Otis Redding. I also like the southern style rock of performers like the Average White Band and the Allman Brothers. When I wrote this tune I had all those influences in mind.
