Tribute to my father

Phil Townley - Lead Guitar
Nik Straugheir - Bass Guitar
Josie Campbell - Rhythm Guitar, backing vocals

On the days preceding and following my fathers funeral the Southern right whales were migrating around the Kapiti Coast line. My dad was born in Rarotonga but his cook island whanau are from Tongareva the Northern Cooks. The whales migrating is symbolic and reminds me of the legend of "Whale Rider". I would like to believe that the whales were carrying dads spirit back to his family in Tongareva.

WATERS EDGE
engagin' vocal, the whales, the whales, and goodby to a father, storytellin' seems natural and fluid, a folk extravaganza, part dirge, part celebration....
