Extraordinary song of victory over sickness and defining the way one wants to be remembered.

Music By DH

The story of a beautiful young woman who battled depression and confusion because of autoimmune issues (systemic Lupus.) In spite of her struggles she was able to raise above her struggles and express her self though poems and songs.
She hasn’t been herself lately.
Doctors claim she has SLE. (S-L-E)
But think of the best version of her.
I want you to smile and see.

That caramel girl evolved from a cocoon into a butterfly.
She’d want you to laugh, not to cry.
That caramel girl always had a spark in her eyes.
she’d always say hello and wave when she said goodbye.

she has been sad the last few years.
That wasn’t her but her disease.
Think of her as she were in her twenties.
Nothing brought her to her knees.

That caramel girl evolved from a cocoon into a butterfly.
She’d want you to laugh, not to cry.
That caramel girl always had a spark in her eyes.
she’d always say hello and wave when she said goodbye.

Her sickness didn’t slow her down.
She wrote poems and record songs.
Even when she was confused and afraid.
Her spirit helped her along.

That caramel girl evolved from a cocoon into a butterfly.
She’d want you to laugh, not to cry.
That caramel girl always had a spark in her eyes.
she’d always say hello and wave when she said goodbye.
