So what song you want to do so i can learn it for this weeknd. The songs which is quite popular with me is Lonley freedom and The man who sold the world. See if you could do better than me on lonely freedom. The man who is what we sign off with.

Thanks Dolores,
I might make two versions of lime translucent. I really like that one. I'm thinking about one version is a straight up version similar to what you did and another version that is a mash up of your song and some ear blazing metal. If that version works out how I hear it in my head it will be pretty amusing.

Ken

Hey Dolores,
I might like to cover your song changing moods or possibly lime translucent.
Any synth parts would be converted to guitar on changing moods since I can't play synth worth a damn. I don't have a Spanish guitar for lime translucent but I might have a way to fake it. If I did either of them it would not be for a couple months I have some other projects going right now.
Anyway think about it and let me know if you would allow me to cover your song then we can talk in more detail but let's not put the cart before the horse.

I added a mew song Cordial Melody its similar feel to dream away with different pattern and of course 432 hrtz.

Two Silo Complex

11/2/2015 8:28:16 AM

Yes your right dream a way is a work in progress this is a demo. Thanks for looking past that and giving your compliment anyway.
I experimented with a new tuning technique. I tuned my 12 sting guitar to 432 hertz instead of standard 440. You can read about it. This is super easy to do with a snark. What it does is lower the entire tuning by I think a half note. It’s supposed to be perfect pitch tuning but I don’t know if that is true or not. A funny thing happened during recording my pickup for my acoustic guitar broke so I read about how to make my own piezo pickup for about 8 dollars at radio shack. I made it but if I turned up the volume it was noisy so what I ended up doing is plug direct with the piezo pickup one channel and also record from my fender frontman 15 watt guitar amp that I bought for 20 bucks from a second hand store. With the two track blended it gave this natural hall type effect that turned out pretty cool.
The guitar work went through many revisions before this version. It’s funny that you mention the guitar work. I’m a bass player and not really great on guitar. Because I am not that good what happens sometimes when I am fiddling around is I come up with these strange disjointed chords. I like filling space with harmonies. I will be posting my remix of tranquility soon. Take a listen if you get a chance once I post it I think it has an interesting ambient feel that I enhanced with thunder and rain with cymbal rolls.

Hey Delores,

Thanks so much for listening to "Feels Like Saturday Night" and glad you like it. Jazz was my first genre as I was a Sax/Trumpet player in a Jazz band in my early teen years. So, I guess I keep coming back to where I started every now and then because it is near and dear to my heart. Although I seldom play horns now due to health issues, I am working on a horn version of this song with one of my horn playing friends. I was a Grover Washington jr./Cannonball Adderly fan when I was growing up.

Anyway, hope all is going well for you so far in 2012. Looking forward to hearing new music from you. Keep me posted. I have lots of new projects in the works also.

Much Respect & Blessings,
Stoneman

Got your message and yes I read your posts. What an awesome privileged it is to be exposed to such great musicians and songwriters like you and so many others. I have a feeling that that thread will have many lives. Thanks again for everything you wrote and also for your kind words about "Willie Mae". I had another listen to Greed today. I think it is one of my favorite songs of yours. But I like all of your work.
