the Jupiter/Crab nebula eye is a photo manipulation my daughter made by photographing my eye, and stretching and merging the two images over the photo. It was part of a portfolio that awarded her the "Sterling Scholarship" in HS Photography class. She gave me the full size print for my birthday, I cherish it. :)

Hey Fred,

I just got back from a quick vacation, called up the blog page and discovered ALL my posting ability has been now lifted from the Pipeline.

Review your threads. Can you identify what it is I said that got me totally banned? See what I mean about talking about IAC? I didn't even say anything derogatory. I just said you couldn't talk about them ... oh, and Toby takes things personally ... that's probably what did it.

I guess I do know someone who is overly sensitive.

lol ...

Be well, F.

Fred

I was thinking about your recent posts rants ideas

this is short I need to get away from this place for a bit
but here goes

1 would it be cool to have iacmusic develop artists as a label?
2 would it be cool to set aside a part of iacmusic that has a kinda custom area
sort of a elite artist section. where they others monitor a group and evaluate them and perhaps somehow promote them

that was not exactly what I had in mind yesterday, but kind of...I should have written it out better...I had some good ideas i wanted to share with you

they will come back I hope, my ideas. so is that what you were after?

I think this carte blanche open door policy of any and all artists quasi half ass musicians has watered down the quality level that once was established here originally so I believe I see your point...of raising the bar....the intention at once time was to have a place for like real musicians, serious dudes and ladies....now we have a tub full of lard to some degree....well not totally,.but the cream is what you are looking for and there needs to be another part of iac that provides that place for the stellar music....is that what you meant.... i think so

hey ,Thanks for the cool discussion at the pipe. you have some valid points and good ideas stick to your guns, let it all hang out, it may get iac to look at a different approach, like what a label does when they are developing up and coming artists, you know anyways. my bad on the comment though eh.....sometimes we say things we ought not to.......anyways like your videos, nice work there.....and like I said added that very fine song "burning city" to music is truth
