yeah... amongst many great influences I hear shades of They Might Be Giants and Robyn Hitchcock. I hope being defined by similar sounding predecessors does not annoy you. Often it is the easiest way to at least START comprehending an unfamiliar artist's work... anyway a humorous wit and a willingness to be 'out there' but also have the solid pop sensibility are evident. We internet artists on a budget/ with not enough brainspace to keep up with the industry's up to the millisecond production values DO tend to sound like rehashers of the studio templates of yesteryear... what of it? Plenty of folks still seek and relish such sounds. Anyway, continue forward, reverse.
