Due to the way we currently operate, we cannot directly broadcast MP3s/other digital audio. Send us a little information. We don't need much – just a little info explaining who you are and where you came from. This is particularly applicable to bands who are trying to break into college radio without the help of a promotion company. A little info can mean a lot. Please include a track list and make sure to note which tracks contain swearing/obscenities. That will help us know if/when we can play your music. It's helpful for you to include a CD jewel case with your release. It makes it much easier for DJs to find and play your CD if it's properly packaged and marked. Album art and liner notes help your music stand out from the rest of the pack. @KRUI KULT U. • KOPN 915 E. Broadway St., Columbia, MO 65201 PH: 573-874-1139 submissions@kopn.org https://www.kopn.org Send only full, professionally manufactured, CDs. CD-R discs, while reducing the cost to an artist, have been known to have major issues. Also, please, no demos or CD singles. These will get lost in the library too easily. CDs should be in normal-sized jewel boxes – no slim-line jewel cases. The latter tend to get lost in a sea of full-sized cases, especially since there is no place for identification on the spine and no tray card. If there are cost or environmental concerns, you may send the CD, booklet and jewel case liner/tray card in a protective vinyl sleeve. There should be a CD booklet containing information about the artist, the songs, the various personnel on each song, songwriting credits, PRO affiliation (ASCAP, BMI, etc.) and, if at all possible, lyrics. If it is not possible to include the lyrics in the booklet, there should be a sticker or some other warning about any songs containing radio-unfriendly language. The artist/band name should be distinguishable from the album title as well. Be sure that the record label and contact/purchasing information is visible. Above all, the printing should be legible! The jewel case tray card should contain the track numbers, name of each song and accurate times for each track. It should also have the name of the artist and album name printed legibly on the portions of the card that are visible through the spine of the jewel case. Remember, without a track listing and times, the CD is unusable for radio. facebook.com/KOPNfm @KOPNFMRadio

• The 5 & Dime Show WMSE 1025 N. Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202 PH: 414-799-1917 Shopkeeper Ken and Grasscutter Andy wmse@msoe.edu https://www.wmse.org The show takes its name from days gone by, when you could walk to the corner store and pick up anything and everything ... the same applies here. Shopkeeper Ken will play a 1920s era Blues gem, played right after a 60s Psychedelic tune, played right after a brand new Freak Folk song, played right after some heavy Funk and follow that up with a Billie Holiday song ... all tastefully sequenced (hopefully!). Anything goes at the 5 & Dime. Who knows what will be in stock this week, as I'm constantly picking up new stuff, and digging through both my own, and WMSE's, vast collection. Also, stay tuned for this week's special, when I choose a theme and play a three hour set devoted to it. No dollar store junk here! Just the best that recorded music has to offer from the last 100 years! facebook.com/wmse917 @WMSE

City Rock Showgram WMSE 1025 N. Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202 PH: 414-799-1917 Rich Mars & Matt Schoeffler rmars@tds.net https://richmars.blogspot.com Simply stated, is a show and it is a program that has little or nothing - or perhaps everything - to do with the city of music. Best summary is Alternative for geezers. I play old-geezer acts like Reed and Richman and Waits but constantly on the lookout for new gems. facebook.com/wmse917 @WMSE
